The Ministry of Economic Development found a new way to attract investment.
The Ministry of Economic Development has prepared such a bill to attract investors from abroad. However, these new standards may come into force in July 2021. As the ministry noted, foreign business will react positively to the possibility of permanent residence in the Russian Federation. But the eligibility of foreigners who match the criteria has not been clarified yet – the government will establish them. The State Duma believes that in addition to the requirement to purchase property, it is necessary to introduce a mandatory check on the legality of the capital earned.
